Membership of the GIScRG is free for Fellows of the RGS-IBG (FRGS).
Members of the GIScRG have the right to:
- attend all meetings of the GIScRG and submit material for discussion;
- vote in any ballot of the GIScRG;
- attend the Annual General Meeting of the GIScRG and participate in discussion and voting;
- receive a periodic newsletter and any other material provided by the GIScRG;
- be nominated for membership, including any office of the GIScRG Committee
